The ReFraming Seminar Clients Served: Up to two adults (parents or guardians) Duration: One day, for a total of 8 hours instruction (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with breaks allowed for snacks and meals) + two hours informal discussion with the facilitator(s) and his/her guests (open to any clients who wish to participate). Informal discussion ends at 8:00 p.m. |
Services • Intensive training on the concepts of ReFraming processes, wherein parents learn strategies for dealing with numerous child, teen, and young adult management issues. • Overview of the educational treatment care industry, complete with suggestions and options for support beyond the seminar • Action plan concepts for enlisting local therapists organizations, including schools, districts, churches, youth programs, etc., in creating environments and social experiences of growth and progress for young people • Training on learning to deal with crisis effectively, and to find relationship-based opportunities and solutions in the midst of potential chaos • Training on developing relationships of trust and growth between adults and children • Training on how to demand strength from children, rather than weakness (which is, ironically, the result of many well-intended approaches to teen crisis) |

Benefits: • Cost-effective option for parents who don't feel treatment services are necessary, but who recognize the need for additional tools and techniques in rearing and working with their children • Simple, quick, though intensive training, without the commitments related to enrollment in treatment programs • Simple, though extremely effective understanding of the ReFraming Model, which facilitates not only management of families and social environments, but also enables a simple methodology to recognize patterns of behavior that may be problematic enough to warrant additional treatment help. • Complete control of the application of treatment concepts is at the discretion of parents, without outside influence or agendas • 2-hour Q&A session following the 8-hour seminar for participants who would like additional information and insight from the facilitator • Clients who decide to enroll in The ReFraming Seminar vs. enrolling in a more expensive service (The ReFraming Parenting Program, Insight Technical Academy, or Beyond Boarders Vocational School), may apply paid fees toward tuition in one of these services within 8 (eight) months of attendance in the ReFraming Seminar. This amount will be tallied, and will be paid back to the client in the form of a rebate check. |
