Services

     • 1-day per week parent consultation, coaching, and training, based upon ReFraming Concepts and Life Space Crisis Intervention

     • Sessions take place via an online conferencing system, requiring the ability to gain online access; although real-time voice capability is part of the service, clients who wish to participate verbally are responsible for all fees for standard telecommunication services

     • ReFraming Coaching Online is specifically geared to help parents develop skills and habits conducive to helping their troubled teens overcome self-destructive or otherwise harmful behaviors. Each session takes place with a maximum of 20 parent client households in each session, and is staffed by one ReFraming professional. This is not an individual or group therapy environment, and all therapeutic issues are redirected to local therapists. If parents have not employed the services of a therapist for their children, themselves, or their family as a whole, SIM strongly recommends that they seek the services of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in their area. This specific type of therapeutic professional practices theories and principles that are directly conducive to ReFraming principles.      • In addition to traditional online "chat" functions, the ReFraming Coaching Online conferences have whiteboard, diagram, and other functions through which the ReFraming staff member displays, discusses, and explains teen-help training topics and materials to the group.

     • Suggestions are made to group members regarding reading and research materials that may be beneficial to their personal situation.

     • Because clients are normally from similar geographic areas, many community-based solutions that arise during discussions and training are beneficial to other group members.

Benefits:

     • Cost-effective option for parents who don't feel treatment services are necessary, but who recognize the need for additional tools and techniques in rearing and working with their children

     • Simple, quick, though continuous training, without the commitments related to enrollment in treatment programs

     • Simple, though increasingly effective understanding of the ReFraming Model, which facilitates not only management of families and social environments, but also enables a simple methodology to recognize patterns of behavior that may be problematic enough to warrant additional treatment help.

     • Complete control of the application of treatment concepts is at the discretion of parents, without outside influence or agendas

     • Clients who decide to enroll in ReFraming Coaching Online vs. engaging in a higher-cost program (such as the ReFraming Parenting Program, Insight Technical Academy, or Beyond Boarders Vocational School) may apply paid fees toward tuition in one of these programs within 8 (eight) months of the most recently enrolled month in ReFraming Coaching Online. This amount will be tallied, and will be paid back to the client in the form of a rebate check.
